I thought the arm was working, but my son thinks it isn't. If that is the cause of the problem, can that part be easily replaced?

Mine isn't producing any ice at all (although the water dispense works), and I want to remove/replace/repair it. But I have no idea how to remove it. Can you give me any insight into that?
