I have amana, which appears to have a problem.
It does not have ice maker.
When it comes off the defrost cycle it clicks and a little time
goes by it tries again this happens about 3 to 4 times then
the compressor starts. The temp in both boxes is fine.
the only time it does this coming defrost cycle.
I replaced the defrost unit. no help.
3 repairmen said they have no idea what is,never heard of
it before.
