spins in wash cycle pumps water all out and will not spin

does make a roar noise like the look underneath belt is spinning all 3 pulleys


washer has been sitting in storage for 3 months

In many cases we can pinpoint the problem and suggest a solution. That is not the case here.

Your problem can be in the brakes, tranmission, thrust bearing and probably someother things. First make sure there is nothing jammed with the tub and basket and that the drain hoses are all clear.

Then use the service manual to see what you can find out.

I just found this thread from a search, and curious to the senior member who replied. Is there an ability to register for the service manual that you linked to, as it requires login information.
