Hey, guys. My Roper, Model RES7648EQ2 just stopped heating up. Should I just assume that it's the heating element, and can you point me in the direction of a good troubleshooting/walkthrough?

Hi.

First you need to check if there is 240VAC to the dryer.
If yes then unplug it,remove the back panel and using the multimeter check continuity of the: heating element, thermal cut off, high limit, cycling thermostat, thermal fuse.
All this checks must be done with one wire off the part.
