Washer runs for a few mins. then stops. Wait a few mins and it starts again for a min. or two. Repeats over on any cycle.(wash spin rinse)

Hi. You need to determine if this is the timer or the motor. Wiggle the timer knob when washer stops. If it's starts right away-replace the timer. Check if the motor overheats. Remove the pump from the motor, disconnect motor from the transmission and try it without the load. The motor Part number: 661600
Use the video clip for the instructions. Simon.

As I said B-4 the motor runs 4 a min then stops. Motor is not hot 2 touch, as it is on towel without pump on it and it stops after a min. of running. I hooked everything up to operate washer. I had low water level and it filled to that level and stated running 4 a min then stopped. I tried spin cycle,it didnot run. I waited 4 a min and it started 2 spin 4 a min. then stopped as usual. I noticed after several start stops that the dial on timer did not move where i placed it. Could this timer B defectived? Thank U 4 all the advice on trouble shooting this problem!!!

Hi.
First I'd replace the motor. If you'll get it from the APP you may return it even if it's been installed.
Simon.

The motor is not hot when it runs. My local sears has motor 4 $110, but will not take back if it does the same thing as this one! I also checked cap.for reliability and is was @199. I hooked everything back up and it filled 2 low water level & started up and quit in a min. waited and it ran and stoped, which it did over & over. The dial on timer did not move off where iI turned it to on wash or spin cycle. Could that B my problem? This machine is my wifes favorite and wants me 2 get it working as the new ones do not have the cycles she wants. I had hair B-4 this, now I look like Kojak! Thanks 4 all you help!:D
