what part is bad causing the regfigetator part to be too warm

Hi.

Locate in the fresh food top left rear the vent and check if there any cold air coming out of it.
If not - open the freezer door and check again.
If the air is coming through with the freezer door open , then most likely it' the defrost system problem.
If not - the air damper control.

GE ref and freezer side by side model #GSS255SGMD frig was not cooling properly I noticed that the coil in back freezer was cover with ice so I replaced the defroster heater and defroster control but i still have same problem so i replaced the control panel but i still same problem coil still cover with ice but if i melt the ice frig and freezer work great only for a few days and it seem defroster heater not working and it is new
can u give me an advice or help thanks

Hi.

What do you mean "control panel"? Is it the mother board at the back? What is the part number?
