My dryer is taking a long time to dry. I have tested some of the parts and need to make sure what to purchase. When I tested the secondary coil on the gas valve I get a reading of 1375 for one terminal and 566 on the other. Does that mean it is bad? The automatic cycle has never worked on this dryer from the beginning. I would like it to work and am not sure which thermostat is used to control this cycle. There are two thermostats on this model. Can you help me buy the right parts? Thank you for your time.

The first thing I would do is make sure the vent line is absolutely clean all the way from the dryer through the vent outlet and the lint chute in the dryer is clean as well. Whirlpool model list. Gene.
