Hi Woodie,
Unplug the refrigerator. Remove the cover from the main control board on the back of the fridge. Remove the wire from the J9 terminal. Measure the resistance between this wire and the wire connected to the J7-9 pin at the control board. The normal reading suppose to be no less than 22 Ohms.
Unplug the J1 connector and measure the resistance between the wires connected to the J1-4 and J1-5. The normal reading suppose to be (if the temperature inside the freezer is about 36°F) between 12 to 16 K Ohms.
Post the results.
Gene.

On what scale did you set the ohmmeter when you measured the sensor resistance between the J1-4 & J1-5? Gene.

Gene. Hi Gene, Set on 200 scale and it has been run about 4 days straight and the fan motor near the compresser is turning slow. How about freon R134 ? Also did a control diagnostics test with the COLDER/WARMER pads and all looked good. What NEXTS Thanks, Woodie
