I received an error code on my electric oven of F3E2. Based on some blogs and speaking with a representative at Whirlpool, I was told I would need to replace my control panel part # 6610454 which I did. The oven still does not work properly. Both the broiler and the lower heating elements light and it is not maintaining the proper temperature (way too hot). Is it possible I replaced the wrong part or received a new faulty part? What else would I need to replace? Please help. Vince

I see a lot of views on my issue, but no suggestions. Can any of you techs out there offer a remedy? I spoke with two different techs and reviewed whirlpools factory specs/repair manual and all state to check the oven temperature sensor with an ohm meter which should state at or near 1100 ohms. If the sensor, the connectors and the wire harness to the sensor are OK, the issue is with the control board which I replaced and still the oven overheats and does not maintain the proper temperature. Come on you appliance pros, write me back with a suggestion.........
