Washer tub shakes and washer turns off during spin. With no clothes in tub it operates normally. The tub leans to rear of machine when it is not running. I had the age wrong on previous post.

Hello.

Most likely the problem is bad shocks (springs) or the support to which springs are attached.
Post the results and we will provide you with feather assistance.

Thank you.

There is a post on bottom of tub assembly which looks like it should rest in a hole in a bracket. With it out of the hole the tub is not centered. When I get the tub centered it jumps out of the hole in the bracket.

Hi.

The support is broken, it looks like tripod with three shocks/springs attached to it.
In you case the best thing will be replacing all this parts.

The support Part number: AP2906500
Part number: AP2906500

The springs Part number: AP4358664
Part number: AP4358664

Here are the breakdown diagrams and Replacement parts for Whirlpool LT5000XVW0 LAUNDRY CENTER | AppliancePartsPros.com

It,s a big job and require a spinner ranch to take the basket out. Let me now if you need any help.

Good luck. Thank you.

How do you know it’s the springs. Everything under my washer looks perfectly fine but it still spins unbalanced
