I just purchased a Whirlpool Duet dryer a month ago. I got a code, F70 half way through a drying cycle. It wouldn't start right away had to wait about an hour before starting again. Now it will only dry for about 5 mins and then the F70 code comes on and have to wait until it cools down before starting it again and probably have to do this 2 or 3 times during one load. Does any one know what this problem could be?

Hi,
I would check your dryer vent to make sure it is free of lint and opened up good.
Other then that it would be best if you called for service as it is under a year old and would be under full warranty.

Hi, Yeah that was the first thing and it is all fine. We had a repair man come and check it out and he thought it was the electronic issue - heat sensor, and change it but it is doing it again. I was just wondering if anyone has had this type of problem before. Plus we live in a remote area so it is hard to have it checked out. Thanks

Drreamdog In order to help you I need the complete model number of your dryer. You can find it on the door frame. Gene.
