Broken belt switch could be going out. It is a micro switch. Might be the motor is going bad.

Hi.
Unfortunately it's very hard to proper diagnose the "every once in the while problem". To run the test the dryer has to be "down". The most common problem could be the motor or the timer. Also the door switch may have intermittent problem. Guessing is expensive.
Next time try to push and release the door switch several
times, see if it helps.
The defective belt switch definitely will cause the problem.
Is there anything you do that makes the dryer start?
Please post results.

Hi.
The belt switch located at the rear motor mounting bracket.
To test the door switch - locate the single wire on one side - common wire (marked C) and with door closed you should have continuity between C and NO. Open the door - continuity between C and NC.

The belt switch Part number: 279782
Part number: 279782

The door switch Part number: AP3132865
Part number: AP3132865

Post the results.
