The model number you provide does not come up.
Is it Canadian model number?
Verify the model number and repost it, please.
What bearing you need to replace?
Best regards. Gene.

thank you for reply.
I checked with Sears Canada and I found out that they don't provide anymore the replacement part just for the bearings. Instead we had the whole tub replaced. It seems to be working for now. thanks again

For your info. they still sell a bearing kit P# 285203 at about $40, a lot cheaper than $103 plus $25 shipping. However, it is a big job removing and installing the bearings.

Shmears does not seem to sell that bearing kit. Does anyone know the specs on the bearings. I found some numbers on another forum that seem to match from [FIXED] Drum Gasket and Rear Shell Bearings - Appliance Blog Repair Forumseg 40x80x10DL metric seal 6307-2RS bearing (inboard) ID 35, 6306-2RS bearing (outboard) ID 30 I measure the bearing races on the spider support and they seem to be just under 30mm and 35mm eg 1.18" (29.972mm) and 1.377" (34.976mm)

I would take the bearings to an auto supply store where they can accurately measure the old bearings with a micrometer.

Thanks, I can measure them when they are out and have access to the required ID and OD mics, but am hesitant to beat them out without a reasonable assurance that i can match them.
They are actually ok at this point. I just don't want to take the rig apart in another year. It is a bit of work for an amature as you probably know. Luckily I have changed not so fun bearings in car hubs and know the joy of such a job.(smile).
But, I am inclined to go for it at this point.
cheers.

The bearings listed above worked for my 970-c41062 Frigidaire sold by Shmears.
I knocked the old ones out with a flat punch and that went pretty easy. I sat the drum on a bucket to knock the outer one out.
To press them in, I used some large metric washers to hold the outside of the bearings and bolted them through using threaded rod which pulled the bearings into place. I think a bolt about 150mm would work and the bolt should be 12 mm but larger is better. The inner bearing washer must be slightly smaller than the outer bearing race at it sinks past the outer bearing surfaces to allow for the bearing seal.
I used the same method to pull the oil seal into place but needed a piece of thick walled pipe to apply force where needed. The dimension of the pipe would depend on the seal characteristics. The replacement was designed much different than the original and uses a stainless steel spring to hold pressure on the seal point.
