ran a load through it one day and came back to find the water drained but it did not spin checked it out a lil to find that the belt had been burned out so i replaced it only to have the same thing happen again this time i checked the pump to make sure it was not plugged up it was not pulled it apart and find that the tub is binding up for some reason and cant figure this out going crazy please help.

Usually the Kenmore 70 Series are Whirlpool made machines without a belt, so I am not sure what you have. Please post the model number with the three digit prefix so we can see exactly what machine you have.

its an old machine from sears roebuck and co. i cant really make out the first digit but it looks like 110 and it is a 70 series heavy duty plus if that helps any.

Ok, if this is really the older model belt driven Whirlpool made machine than it is much older than the 5-10 years you posted and I think you should consider a replacement. You have more, much more than gotten your money's worth here.
