I overloaded this machine and on fast/fast for agitate and spin. Now the machine will not agitate or spin. It drains, but then just pulsing humming sound occurs. When I put in on slow, it barely starts to agitate then quits.

Sounds like a motor coupler. Easy repair.

yep. amazing I found the coupler here in mexico from a repair place. a bit pricey at 200 pesos ($17.80). I didn't even haggle. anyway, the rubber and both hubs looked ok until closer inspection of one hub revealed a crack in the center so that the motor spindle must have just been spinning inside of it. The new hubs were tight going on and didn't look exactly the same as the original. I replaced everything and will keep the two useable remaining parts for future use if necessary. I plan on running the cycles slow and reducing the size of my wash loads.

Its very important that you installed each half of the motor coupler spider in all the way flush with the end of the motor and transmission shaft, I use a 3/8in ratchet's 12in extension with a rubber hammer to get it flush. The old ones are made totally out of plastic, the new ones have a metal insert to last longer.

Glad it worked out ok,
