The washer will not power up when start button is pushed. where do i start?
We checked the electrical outlet and there is power coming to the washer.
The switch appears to be part of a circuit board (makes a click sound when pushed)

try checking the id switch that may be the problem sure sounds like it

Did you mean lid switch? I'm having a similar problem with my Kenmore 2120.
