Noises are very difficult for us to diagnose on a Forum like this because the way we diagnose them is to listen to them, which obviously we cannot do in this case.

If you are sure the top plastic bearing is the cause of your noise, replace it and the drum glides also, as neither are very expensive.

You should know that in my experience the majority of time the noise with this machine is the rear bearing assembly, so be prepared to replace that if your first fix does not do the job.
