Help me out: The dryer starts and fires up good for approx. 4-5 min., then it shuts off. Can I assume its the thermal fuse or can it be something else. The gas hookup is fine and no odor. One more thing: Once it heats up and shuts off I must wait untill it cools before it will allow me to start it again.

jb If you are talking about the whole dryer shutting off, and waiting for it to cool before it will start again, it is the motor. If you are saying the gas shuts off and the dryer still runs, replace the coils on the gas valve. Tom www.applianceeducator.com/parts,htm
