have a kenmore side by side refrigerator/freezer that the refrig side will not cool lower than 40o. The freezer side will go to 10o below. I replaced the temp sensor on the refrig side but still the same temp. I checked all passageways to and from the refrig side to the freezer, no blockages. I removed the cover for the cooling coils in the freeze and saw no ice or blockages. The fan for the freezer side is running but i am not sure it is pushing enough air into the refrig side. How can i check the fan motor to see if it is working properly? I also noticed that the front/middle between the 2 doors really gets hot at times.

Make sure the condenser fan underneath the unit is running when the compressor runs.
The fridge gets its cold air from the freezer through a vent between the freezer and fridge. The fan in the freezer blows air through it. There is a flap you adjust with the fridge temp. control. Make sure it's opening and closing when you adjust the fridge temp ..
