This machine has been making a raspy noise but would work through every cycle. Now, it failed in spin cycle. Pump worked and no spin.

Part number: AP4024823
If the pulley cam or bearing assembly are worn or distorted, the washer will make a noise, and eventually start to slip because the tolerance changes, won't allow the brake rotor and stator to lock and unlock properly. Good Luck and Thanks, :) :) :)
