We bought a used dishwasher and have finally hooked it all up. There's a lot of hard water deposits built up inside the dishwasher. A lot of crud by the drain. The spray arms don't spin but it seems like it should be enough water going through them. I think it probably just needs a good cleaning. How do you clean the inside of the dishwasher? Are there any recommended products for the job? How do you clean the spray arms. I sure hope we can get it working because it's been a job to get it installed.

Thank you.

there are quiet a few dishwasher cleaner on the market nowadays, dishwasher magic, glisten, lemishine, jet dry has a dishwasher cleaner and does finish. also we now have afresh 2 all good cleaners. i have been told by many that lemonaid cool aid (high in citric acid(#1 ingrediant in most cleaners) and no dyes) have also been told tang, i would shy away from tang as it has an orange dye and sugars(not good for cutting bacteria)
