Have an Admiral washer which pokes holes in my clothes. Had someone out a few years ago who said it was from plastic that is at the bottom of the agitator. The problem is getting worse and we all have small holes in our shirts. Any suggestions on how to fix this?

Sounds likely to be a replacement of the agitator, but I cannot give you more info without a model number.

If you post a model number we can show you the parts diagrams.

I suggest you remove the agitator and inspect it and the area for damage which would cause your problem.

Here is the service manual which will take you through the process.
