Was washing some clothes, when my wife walked in and said the washer is making a fast clicking noise but wont't spin , however the water does drain, I tried running it through the cycle and noticed it hardly wants to agitate since it stoped spining, but everything else works,
How do you remove the cabinet around the washer, I'm thinking it might the cuppling ? if so any instructions would be apprecciated. Thank You:confused:

It does sound like the coupling. To remove the cabinet, first disconnect power. Then hinge up the control panel by removing the two screws on each end (some are on the back some on the front and some you have to remove a cover to see the screws). Once the control panel is up remove the two metal clips on each side of the cabinet. Next unplug the wire plug in the middle of the cabinet. Then the cabinet should hinge over toward you and off. To get to the coupling you must remove the pump and the motor both are held on with clips. Whirlpool Washer Not Running Repair Guide
