the flame in the dryer does not stay on after ignition could it be the pilot coil or main coil or even the ignitor

replace the coils on the gas valve, and that will do it. common problem. cheap and easy fix. tom

to replace the coils on the dryer..is it better to remove the burner unit and from there replace the coils or if you you suggest where i can get some instructions step by step thank you yipper44

Dude, get the coils and take the 2 screws that hold the bracket on, and replace the coils. Your making a big deal out of this. Its as easy as put oil in the car. Tom ApplianceEducator.com
