Hello,

I have a Whirlpool Accubake Gold oven. While in the cleaning mode, the oven door locking mechanmism clicks on and off loudly. Won't stop.

I have the same issue.. I am looking into contacting Whirlpool with the problem, but any help from the forum would be most welcome!

Hi Steve,

Pull the range out of the wall. Remove the rear cover and check the door latch switches and solenoid (#26 & #27 on the diagram). check the wires from the door latch to the control board.

If there is nothing wrong, replace the control board. If you need the correct part number for the control board, post the color of the keypad.

- The door latch solenoid Part number: AP3007999

Thank You Doctor!
