Washer fills and then just pumps, no spin. I checked the lid switch and the magnets seem no good. I bypassed the switch but still no spin. If I manually spin the basket it will start spinning for 5 to 10 seconds and stop. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

The motor has a built in clutch, so operate it with the front panel off and see if you can tell what is happening. If the belt is tight enough and the transmission is turning ok then the motor may have to be changed out.
