I have a Roper Whirlpool Electric Dryer about 4 years old. It will not heat and the timer setting control knob will not move while the dryer is running. The control knob was working fine before it stopped heating. The dryer is not clogged up with lint. please give me some advice.

Sounds like the heating coil has broken and needs replacing.
Check it with a meter.
Most units will not advance the heater in auto cycles if the heater is shot.
Will advance if unit is in timed dry cycle. |
