I just received my order from APP.com. 1-#WD24X10018 Piston & Nut Assy. 1-#WD8X219 Valve Body Gasket. I took the old piston & nut assy. out and can see the valve body gasket. My question is: Is that gasket replaceable from inside the washer, or do you have to do it from underneath?

That gasket looks like it has something to do with sealing around the piston body, so I pulled the old one out and tried to put the new one in from inside the washer. Needless to say, it wrinkled and when I turned the washer on, it sprayed water everywhere on the pump cycle. Live and learn. Wish I had waited for your reply. Already had it fixed when I saw it. I'm using the old gasket as the new one has a permanent wrinkle. Don't know why they offer this part. Don't think it could ever wear out. Thanks again.
