My 6 year old Kenmore dishwasher washes the dishes just fine, but all of a sudden it is noisy. Up to now it was pretty quiet.

The first thing I would do is partially disassemble the pump and check tor a foreign objects inside and inspect the chopper assembly. You can find the instructions in one of our previous posts: http://forum.appliancepartspros...hirlpool-dishwasher.html
