Washer tub makes a rubbing sound when agitating. It seems to work fine on light loads, but makes a rubbing sound like the tub is sitting on something rubber.

The first thing I would check is the pump bearing. Lift the washer up from the front, remove the belt and check how the pump pulley is moving. If you see any tension or noises, replace the pump. If this is not the issue, remove the front panel and check for the water leak through the central seal. - The part number for the pump AP3873289 Gene.

Take the front off the cabinet, look at the bottom at the base. you will see a snubber ring on the base, there will be dust and soap scum under it,try to clean under the ring, then spray some silicone under the ring, and see if that works.
