My GE Profile side by side refrigerator will not cool (both the freezer and refrigerator). When I removed the back cover I noticed that the compressor will not turn on. I disconnected the refrigerator for 12 hours, when I reconnected the unit I heard a very quick click but the same occurs (the compressor will not turn on).

Pull out the motherboard in the back and check for bad solder joints by the big power relay, re-solder if needed. If ok, remove the 3 pin power connector and place a wire jumper between the mating pins as labeled line and comp on the board. Plug fridg in, if the compressor runs, replace the motherboard AP4436216
