I am getting a beeping error with an F1 Code. Oven works fine, but just beeps! Part 71003096, membrane, is no longer available. How can this part be modified to turn off the beep and the error code? Thanks!

Here are your parts Replacement parts for JENN-AIR D156 | AppliancePartsPros.comHere is a service manual. Note pages 4-9 to 4-12 http://www.servicematters.com/maytag_library/docs/16000446(ER001-00).pdfTry cutting power to the unit for a couple hours perhaps it will reset. F1 is a bad relay coil error but since your unit runs OK, it is probably a bad error code. Cannot suggest any fix to the board as the manufacturer's do not publish schematics for the boards Check for poor solder joints of the relays on the relay board. All I can suggest is that you check the wires from the relay board to the control board. Also clean the connectors between the relay board and control board. Use a toothbrush and either electronics contact cleaner or isopropyl alcohol. Make sure that all the solvent has evaporated before re-connecting. Note if it still persists there are companies that will repair old/obsolete control boards but I am not 100% sure that it is a control board problem, problem could be on the relay board. Hopefully someone else will add some help. |
