this is an expensive unit. retail 500-600. sounds like all is running but unit does not heat up. doesn't look like the door sensor. Can you trouble shoot! Is it worth fixing $100 labor plus parts???

everything works ecept for the heat. can't fix myself.

Possible the problem is a bad magnetron. If the microwave is less then five years old then the part is still under the warrant and you pay for labor only. If it's not under the warranty, then the part you can order from APP for $156.01 and pay someone to replace it. - The magnetron Part number: AP2025937
