Hi, When I awoke this morning and looked at the dryer panel, the lights were flashing. The display still read the remaining drying time of 45 minutes.
I pressed cancel and then pressed start. I heard a noise as if the motor was trying to turn, but it did not turn. I pressed cancel and left it alone.
It was raining last night, so I not sure if there was a power surge. I didn't notice any clocks blinking in the house.
I am not sure where to start checking. Last night when I opened the laundry room, there was a lot of humidity. I noticed that the dryer hose had torn somehow, so I fixed this and left the room open to air it out (didn't take long) while continuing with this final load which never finished.
Thanks in advance, Adrian.

Well, My wife figured out the problem. She removed the clothes and found one of my daughters soccer socks (the kind with the built in shin guards) had gotten lodged somehow keeping it from turning.
Thanks.
