My freezer had water under tonight when I got home from work. This has happened before, I blamed the kids for leaving door open. Well it happened again today. I had not voltage at compressor, the thermostat was calling (closed). I tapped the timer on the back of unit and it started. I thinking I have a bad timer. What do you think............. Thanks DNE

Sounds like you found the problem
Did you notice if the fan in the freezer was running? It is usually wired in parallel to the compressor, so if it was also off this raises the odds that you have the correct culprit. |
