Roper washer 4 speed combination 8 cycle won't drain, removed timer (FSP PART NO 3948852B), it doesn't appear to be burt out. Nothing is stuck in draining either.

Two things to check first.

1. the lid switch

2. the pump itself to see if anything is caught in it.

Open up the console, disconnect the switch and by pass it with a piece of wire. If the machine spins and did not before the switch is bad.

Thank you,
Great call.
I have some knowledge of how things work. Just couldn't figure this one out. Timer would stop in same place everytime. Played with timer could get it to drain. So logic would say Timer. Ordered new timer still same problem. Followed your advise messed with lid switch wiring....Click started draining. Thank You!!!!!!
