My stove and oven are working, however, the control panel does not display anything (temperature, etc.) when I press "Bake" for example. It remains blank. The oven goes on when I depress the bake key and then the start key, but nothing shows. I called and discussed it with a troubleshooter and it was suggested that it was just a fuse. When I called for a part, I was told that the "Thermostat Fix" AP3853531 is the part that I need. I do not want to order it unless this is correct. Any idea?

Idorata, I don't think your problem would be any bimetal thermostat, if it was, the unit would be "dead" or would have no heat, since evrything works except the display, You should probably start at the display board. Based on you description. Part number: AP3176181
Good Luck, :) :) :)
