My Maytag Refrigerator Model # msd2756geb does not go below 45 degrees in the fresh food side. The repairman took a two day recording of the temperature on both the fresh food side and the frozen food side . He now says he can fix the problem by replacing the "Warming Kit". Can you tell me if this sounds right and what a warming kit will do? My observation if that there is insufficient air flow from the freezer side into the fresh food side even though the refrigerator cooling lever is in the coolest temperature setting.

Pull out the back freezer panel and see if the coils are frozen over. If ok and only a light frost over all the coils, replace panel and measure the freezer temperature at the back panel and post.

I have removed the back panel and there is no frost. The freezer temperature is close to "0". It seems unusual that there is little to no air blowing from the freezer side into the fresh refrigerated side.

Seems like you have a jammed damper door, or one that is blocked with ice, just pull upper fridg. housing apart and check.
