The dryer is no longer drying or takes all day. We have cleaned out the vent and this did not help. I also have to change the dryer belt after moving it around to clean the vent it has started to make noise and doesn't stop immediately.

Dani, Have you tried running the dryer with a load on timed dry setting ? Did you also check and clean the vent hood ? The noise is probably not the belt, possibly a roller or idler pulley, but a new belt would be a good idea. What do you mean by "doesn't stop immediately" ? when you open the door or turn the unit off, it could tumble a 1/2 to 1 revolution, that's normal. Did you check the blower housing, under the lint filter, for a lot of lint built up in the tunnel ? A bit more information, would be better so we can assist you. Thanks, :) :) :)
