Customer stated “dryer not drying. It gets hot, but just steams”. On my previous service call I replaced the drum belt and rollers due to noisy operation. At that time I cleaned all the lint out of the entire system, and ran it to check for proper operation. Plenty of heat and air flow. The customer also said that she recently had the heating ducts and the dryer duct cleaned. What else could cause this problem? Thanks!

Drying is a combination of heat and airflow.
Don't take their word for it, check the vent all the way out to the outside of the house. watch out for plastic venting, too many elbows, and vents that don't open or are clogged with wet lint. The most important place to check is right behind the dryer. I always use a 4 inch metal elbow that can't be crushed.
