This electric dryer will no longer get hot enough. I have thoroughly cleaned out lint from dryer and discharge chute.

If thats the correct Model# listed, I got some bad news for you. The dryer is AT LEAST 30 YEARS OLD!!!! Not 5-10 as you listed,But anyway, The heater is most likely SHORTED to ground by a coin or another metal object!!! Its quite a job to repair this heater, The cabinet must be removed because the element is located against the inside of the front panel.
