Just installed a used gas dryer / with limited us/. I got it working for about 2-3 weeks and it was great. But It only seemed to work on the more dry less dry cycle. Then just like my old dryer it would tumbling but not heating. No glow, no heat, no drying. I just purchased the gas valves and dryer ignitor and installed them and nothing different. Please give me an idea of what to do next!!!

Check the thermal fuse (#2 on the break down diagram) and replace if it's open. Make sure the exhaust line is not clogged all the way to the outlet. Check the blower wheel. Here are the break down diagrams for the Maytag dryer Model LDG7500AAWGene.

Thank you I have two parts that are/were connected to the cylinder around where the flame goes one being a part i can locate (6 3033950) but the other is a square part that says therm-o-disc on it with numbers on the side of 43812 L9535 63-5013 underneath the bracket that holds it on is a open rectangle window which the strip in it looks burn to black color. Is this a part that i should replace also? But I cannt find anything that even half way resembles the part I have. Thanks Amy

Hopefully this Service manual will help you to diagnose and fix the problem. Gene.
