With a screwdriver underneath the cover you will see two square holes place a small blade driver in it and pop the clips then lift cover in an upwards motion. If you aren't carefull you will break the tabs and the cover wont fir properly Why do you think you need to take it off?

There is another kit out and what it does is make the assy stronget they have a plastic tab holding a stainless pin on the flapper well if it gets just a little stuck or frozen shut when pressure is applied the tab breaks and the door cant be mounted so a metal plate with double swtic tape is put in placde where the tabs were One can use this kit back to 1997. there were a string of them made with real thin plastic and they were always breaking I thin it was around 04 or 05 when that was happening SoThats the kit I thought you had sorry

I bought the one kit that was shown in the appliancepartspros for my model.....it doesn't sound like the one you are saying...... but it seems ok except for the new engineering parts that require me to remove the front plate...wish they would have a schematic for me to see....I try your suggestion for the front plate but I still can not remove because the top of the plat is either glued on or there is a latch...which I can't figure out
