Hi folks, Sorry if this has been answered before, but I didnt find exactly what i'm after.
I recently bought a used KUDI01ILBL1 Undercounter Dishwasher, and installed everything but the heating element doesnt get hot, I havnt taken the element out yet to check it because what ive read you need to replace it if you do remove it.
Is there something else that could be wrong that i could check? The unit seems to cycle and wash fine.

It does have the stainless tub, so I know what part and controller to order if i need to, I just wanted to check first before i ordered it.

P.S. Is the dishwasher suposed to be hooked up to the hot supply or the cold?
I was going to hook it up to the hot but someone i work with said to hook it to the cold???

Thanks in advance for any help : )

Definatly hook it up to the hot water. You'll never get clean dishes, let alone dry ones using cold water...How do you know the heating element doesn't get hot. It's probably so cold in the dishwasher that your not noticing it working. Hook up to hot water and try again.

Check your heater connections under the dishwasher. Put it in heated wash and check for the heater to get hot. If not, you may need a thermistor mounted on the bottom of the tub, part # AP3039201, a small, round device. If you have a meter, you can check the control module for voltage to the heater.
