It leaks where the motor shaft enters the pump. The shaft is very rusty at this point. I have not rtaken it apart yet. Should I? lDo I neeed to replace the pump or just seals? Ed

It generally comes as an assembly a pump and motor. You can get just the seal kit, but if the motor is black they had problems with the fan blade separating from the motor shaft, usually at that point most people just replace dishwasher because the repair exceeds the value of the machine

sorry just letting you know the reality of it the pump and motor assy is about 180.00 if you go to the trouble of separating the motor from the pump and replacing the seal your just throwing your money away. Life expectancy of a dishwasher is 5-8 years
