Switched the DW plug with the disposal and the disposal stills works in other plug. Rotating the dial nothing happens. No humming or clicking from the dishwasher. What should I check first.

Remove the junction box cover on the right side under the dishwasher and check the power cord connections to the dishwasher wires. Rank: Member Groups: Registered Joined: 1/27/2009(UTC) Posts: 8		Check the power cord and they were fine. Pulled the inside door cover off and found that the switch leaf had broken off. I ended up drilling a hole through the front of the door to reattached the broken plastic tab and the switch leaf. I used a #6 nut and bolt. All good now.
