Front panel without any lights (dishwasher seems to be dead) There is full power to the unit. The Bi-Metal (Thermal Fuse) are fine. The door switch seems fine (clicks and has power) I've checked all connections and they seem to be in place
Does any on have any suggestions as to the problem other then the circuit board or front panel?
Thanks Shawn

The door switch seems fine (clicks and has power) I am not sure how you checked them but just because they click it does not mean that the contacts in the switch actually closed. I would remove power to the unit and check them for 0 ohms when closed. Remove the wire to one side of the switch when measuring, this ensures that you do not read an alternate/parallel circuit path.
Also the parts breakdown shows you have 2 door switches so I am assuming that your "switch" was actually switches. |

Denman, thanks for the quick response. Yes there are two switches. I have checked both of them and there is continuity. I also checked the Thermal Fuse and the High Limit Thermostat and they are fine. Should I replace the Control Board?

Yes, that is what I would do.
You have checked everything else.
If you order it from AppliancePartsPros I believe you can return it if it does not fix your problem as you have done some troubleshooting. Check out their return policy. |
