I have a Roper dryer that has been slightly squealing when first turning it on, but the noise now lasts longer and almost sounds like a grinding noise. It heats fine, doesn't overheat and clothes dry in their usual time. I've been told that perhaps the rear bearing needs replaced. My question is what part do I need? I saw various model numbers that looked to crossover between brands and I just wanted to make sure I was ordering the right thing so I could *try* and repair the dryer.
Thanks in advance,
Kelly

Thanks in advance,
Kelly Kelly, Your model dryer has two rear drum rollers, (click on part number for additional parts and information) Part number: AP3098345
But there are several possible noise producing parts as well, The drum rollers are a good place to start. (you'll find additional parts listed with the rollers,if you click on the part number) Good Luck, :) :) :)
