Recently purchased a used washer that is now not working.

Frigidaire Affinity ATF6000ES1. Error = E47.

In normal operation the washer will not spin, or sometimes it will spin but not fast.

In diagnostic mode, turning knob 6 clicks to spin cycle, Washer does enter into fast spin mode and works great for about 2 minutes. Then stops and get Error Code 47. So obviously the fast final spin cycle does work, but not in normal operation (just in diagnostic operation).

Should I first check for a clogged filter and drain pump? Is there anything else I should check to see if there is a clog/blockage.

Given that I get Error E47, will a new locking unit fix the problem. Is this the correct part Part Number: AP4455026, Made by FRIGIDAIRE.

In short, what is the best means to proceed to repair this washer.

Thanks for any help and comments.
