My dishwasher keeps blowing the thermal fuse. The first time it happened I checked all of the components Thermistat, thermistor, heating element . . . and it turned out that the thermistor was bad. I replaced it and the dishwasher worked for a couple of months and the fuse blew again. I checked everything again. Everything appears to be fine. Is is common for a thermal fuse to fail like this? Or is there something that i am missing.
Does anyone have any ideas to what may be causing this?

No, I just replaced the fuse and used the old wires.
Last night, I replaced the wires and ran the first load and the fuse survived. In the past the fuse blew when the first load was run. The second time it blew it lasted ~4 months.
Thanks for you help! If it blows again, I will be back.
